Geronimo Santamaria Presidente de Colombia 2006-2010

Geronimo Santamaria Bustamante was born in 1965, in Itagui- Antioquia, son of Jorge Hernan  and Luz Marina two poor peasants. He studied law at the University of Antioquia, then did a postgraduate  in international law at Harvard University. from children showed a interest for the politic, he served as president of New Colombia, part opposition of the government in 1996.maybe the highest position was that of presidential adviser in 1988.

Geronimo facing major struggles during his term, had to face the global economic crisis, an army war with Nicaragua for the recognition of the islands of San Andres. Many achievements were making him the best president Colombia has had in all times, between them can say the demobilization of all armed groups outside the law and a constitutional assembly which included the demands of these groups, but it was the education policy which led him to the biggest awards, exchange of an investment of 0.7 of the PIB to an investment of nearly 8 points, which allow Colombia to leave the scientific and technological backwardness. The distribution of land and the new economic model to reduce poverty for more than 50 percent to only 35, unfortunately a forehand at the head of Juan Manuel Santos current president's life will end May 18, recognized as the black Monday for Colombia’s history.

My Bedroom

My bedroom is very nice, there are some books and notebooks, two photos of my girlfriend and me and two pictures of Jesus. on the wall I have a tennis racket but in my closet I have two rackets more.
There are a TV, a home theater and my stereo.
To the left side there is a chair that I use to put things, generally clothes and papers, there is a computer and a big bed. my room has a big window.
I like my bedroom because there is everything what I need to live.

My House

I live in a house in Itagui, to twenty minuts by car of Medellin City, my house is very big, there are four bedrooms, a living room and a dining room, the kitchen is between the dining room and laundry room.
The living room has a window and it is next to the balcony and there are three chairs.
My home has a GYM near to the bathroom. Every room has a Computer, TV and stereo.
My mum loves courtains that's why there are courtains everywhere.
I live with my family and we used to play cards and we have a lot of visits.

I like my house because is so big and pretty.

My Routine

My routine is different everyday, because every day I do different things.Monday I get up at half past eight and I take a shower then I get dress and clean my room, after that I have a breakfast and brush my teeth. I leave my home at quarter past nine and go to university by car. The class of hermeneutica finish at twelve and i come back to my home and then i have lunch at One. I go to English class from four at seven in the Antigua Escuela de Derecho. I go back to my house and have dinner and check my mails, then i watch TV, i do my homework and talk to my girlfriend. I do to bed at eleven or twelve.  Tuesday I wake up at six thirty and get ready for my class at eight, but before I pick up my girlfriend and we go to class by car. We have class from eight to two, and at two we go to swimming class, we ejoy it a lot. Later i take my girlfriend to her house and I go to my house and take rest two or three hours and get up and study for a while. later I go to sleep at the same hour.  Every wednesday i have tennis class at ten, after that I go to the library and study, at two I do to swimming class later i go to my home.Thursday i do the same things that i do on tuesday, but this day i haven't swimming class.Friday i used to spend the afternoon with my girlfriend watching movies and at night we go out.I like Saturdays and Sundays because i don't do anything.   

LEIDY'S DAY

Leidy is a very good friend from long time, we've shared a lot  of things together.
I am going to tell you a little about her life.
First of all she gets up at eight and she makes the breakfast for her and her two sons Nicolas and Miguel Angel, after they have breakfast, later she cleans her house while she listens music, talks on phone with her friends and she cheeks her email and facebook.
At eleven she and her kids take a shower and then they get dressed, after they have lunch and they brush their teeth before they  leave home and go to the kindergarten and leave them there.
In the afternoons she usually sleep for a while or goes to my house, when she doesn't go to my house is because she is very busy in her house doing things that she can't do in the morning like wash clothes.
She works in a bar in the lleras, but the mondays she always has rest.

She always begin to work at six, but the sundays begin at four; the tuesdays and wednesday she finish at twelve, the thursday finish at one and fridays and saturdays finish at four, finally she finishes the sundays at twelve.
This is the routine of my friend leidy.

LETTER TO MY FRIEND

Hi Luis,
I hope that you're fine.
I m writing this letter for you, because i'm trying to learn a little of english.
I have english class at Multilingua in the University of Antioquia.
I study english because i'm a good student, and this is a good opportunity for me. I have class with twenty three students, they're from different places of Colombia like Cali, Bogota and others.
Our teacher's name's Janet. She is very nice, good teacher adn very patient but very strict.

I live in an apartment near the University, with two friends Yesica and Juan. They`re students like me.
they're cousins. Yesica is twenty two years old and she is two years older than her cousin Juan. we used to have a lot of parties in our house.

Medellin is the most beautiful city in the world.
Medellin has very beautiful girls, this city is very big, but is very violent and poor.

ANDERSON´S FAMILY

My family is the best in the world, we live in Itagui.
I live with my dad, my mom, my older brother and my twin brother.
My mother's name's Marina Bedoya, she is 42 years old but she looks younger and she works at Nova.
She is always busy, sometimes cleaning the house and sometimes working in her office.

My father's name's Jorge Hernan Munera, he is 45 years old. He is from San Pedro de los Milagros, he is a taxi driver. He is a great father and a good person, he likes to play cards and drink with his friends.

My older brother's  name´s Alejandro, he is 28 years old and he has two children, Santiago and Juan Diego. He spends his life working and sleeping. I think we are very different from each other. He is a very outgoing person.

My twin brother's name's Andres, he is an engineer, actually he works in Porce III. I admire my brother. we are similar in many ways, people love him because he is a good man, he doesn't like to drink and is a good worker. We are twins but we are different from each other physically and mentally.

My Nephew Santiago is 9 years old, he is the cutest boy and very obedient. Unfortunately he doesn't live with us but i hope that next year he will come to live here wit us because i miss him.

My nephew Juan Diego is 4 years old, he is very naughty and he has a bad temper like his parents Alejandro and Eliana, he fights a lot with his brother Santiago. He likes to play video games.
